Step 1: Connect your storage device
Recorded shows need to be stored on an external device. First, connect your TV box to a storage device: Locate the USB port on your TV box and insert a USB flash drive or external hard drive, ensuring a stable connection.
Step 2: Open the Mars Live app
Find 【Mars Live】 in your TV box’s app list and open it.
Wait for the app to load the channel list.
Step 3: Find the “Record” function
Once you open the show you want to record in Mars Live,
pick up your TV box remote and find the 【INFO】 button and press it.
A function options bar will pop up at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Confirm recording
In the pop-up options bar, select the 【Record】 button and press the 【OK】 button to confirm and start recording.
Step 5: End recording
When you want to end recording…
Press the 【OK】 button on your remote.
A pop-up message will appear saying “Exit Recording TV?”.
Select 【OK】 again to stop recording. The program will be automatically saved to the storage device you previously inserted.
Tip: After recording, you can find the storage device in the “File Manager” of your TV box to view the recorded program file.
